Garlic & Ginger Broth

Yields: 2 servings

DIRECTIONs

  1. In a saucepan, heat a bit of oil over medium heat.

  2. Add the sliced shallot and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. Add the microplaned garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

  4. Pour in the vegetable stock and bring to a simmer.

  5. Let the broth simmer for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

  6. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.

  7. Add the chopped green onions to the broth just before serving.
